Zusammenfassung

Bitpanda is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to advance our detection library, lead incident response, and automate security workflows. You will strengthen cloud security across AWS and partner with engineering to embed security into our platform.

You’ll mentor engineers, drive security best practices, and help build a security‑first culture across Bitpanda, enabling resilient, scalable protection for millions of users.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years hands-on security engineering experience.
• Experience designing detections and automating workflows.
• Strong background securing cloud-native environments (AWS).
• Ability to lead initiatives from idea to implementation.

Aufgaben

• Detection engineering: design high-fidelity detections mapped to attacker techniques.
• Lead investigations into security incidents and proactive threat hunting across AWS, Elastic, Datadog.
• Build automated investigation, enrichment and response workflows via SOAR and APIs.
• Strengthen cloud security monitoring, system hardening and tooling across AWS.
• Mentor engineers and drive security best practices across Bitpanda.
