Bitpanda in Vienna is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to stay ahead of evolving threats by building the capabilities that detect attacks, respond to incidents and strengthen our security posture. You will combine deep technical expertise with engineering excellence to evolve our security operations and automate at scale.

You will own detection engineering in Elastic Security, lead investigations across AWS, Elastic and Datadog, and partner with engineering to embed security into every project.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of hands-on security engineering, incident response and threat hunting.
• Experience designing detections, automating workflows and improving security processes.
• Strong cloud security experience, especially AWS, with system hardening and monitoring.

Aufgaben

• Detection engineering: own detection strategy and quality in ES/QL/KQL.
• Lead investigations into complex security incidents and threat hunting across AWS, Elastic and Datadog.
• Build automation for investigation and response workflows using SOAR and APIs.
• Improve cloud security monitoring and tooling across AWS; support ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and DORA.
• Mentor engineers, influence architecture, and promote security best practices.
• Participate in weekly on-call with the Security team.
