Job summary

Wienerberger in Austria is seeking a Senior Production Controller & Process Excellence Specialist to drive standard costing, capacity definitions, and idle capacity cost concepts across our manufacturing sites.

You will implement production controlling standards, work with plant management and local finance, and identify improvements to cost transparency and efficiency on a multi-site, international scale.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in production controlling in industrial/manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and plant-level cost structures.
• Solid knowledge of SAP S/4HANA in a manufacturing environment; implementation experience preferred.
• Proven experience developing, standardizing, or improving production controlling processes.
• Strong knowledge of production costing, variances, and capacity utilization.
• Experience in process improvement or transformation initiatives.
• Ability to translate operational challenges into practical and scalable process improvements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with production teams and plant management.
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach; able to drive change across locations.
• Experience in international, multi-site manufacturing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, standardize, and improve production controlling guidelines across sites.
• Lead the implementation and rollout of production controlling standards across multiple production sites and local entities.
• Collaborate with plant management, production teams, and local finance to align controlling processes with operational requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost transparency and operational efficiency.
• Analyze production costs, variances, and capacity utilization to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate capacity utilization and idle capacity impact on production costs.
• Perform monthly analysis of production figures and key manufacturing performance indicators.
