Job summary

PALFINGER AG in Bergheim is seeking a Senior Process Expert SAP FI/CO to lead end-to-end finance processes and harmonize SAP solutions across the organization. The role requires deep S/4Hana knowledge and the ability to translate business needs into functional designs.

You will act as the main liaison between Finance and IT, drive process optimization, and ensure global standards are followed while collaborating with cross-functional teams. English fluency is required; German is a plus.

In this senior role, you act as the central point of contact for all SAP FI/CO functional and system-related topics, ensuring harmonized, stable and efficient end-to‑end finance processes across the organization.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as senior SAP FI/CO process expert with deep S/4Hana process and data model expertise
• Ensure adherence to global S/4Hana finance standards and guide stakeholders on process governance
• Analyze, document and continuously optimize finance and cross-functional processes
• Translate business requirements into S/4Hana-compliant functional designs
• Serve as key interface between Finance and IT, supporting projects, testing and user enablement

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent
• Experience in finance or controlling within a manufacturing environment
• Strong expertise in the SAP FI and modules, including cross‑functional integration knowledge; ideally with key‑user experience or the willingness to further develop these skills
• Analytical, structured and process-oriented team player with strong communication skills
• Fluent in English, German is an advantage

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.241,02 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
