Job summary

PALFINGER, a leading technology and mechanical engineering company in Austria, seeks a senior SAP FI/CO professional to act as the central contact for end-to-end finance processes. The role focuses on harmonized, stable SAP finance operations and effective governance across the organization.

You will translate business requirements into S/4Hana-compliant designs and collaborate with Finance and IT on projects, testing, and user enablement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration or Finance or equivalent.
• Experience in finance or controlling within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in SAP FI and modules with cross-functional integration knowledge.
• Potential for key-user experience or willingness to develop these skills.
• Analytical, structured and process-oriented with good communication.
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior SAP FI/CO process expert with deep S/4Hana process and data model expertise.
• Ensure adherence to global S/4Hana finance standards and guide stakeholders on process governance.
• Analyze, document and optimize finance and cross-functional processes.
• Translate business requirements into S/4Hana-compliant functional designs.
• Serve as key interface between Finance and IT, supporting projects, testing and user enablement.

• Act as senior SAP FI/CO process expert with deep S/4Hana process and data model expertise

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.241,02 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
