Job summary

PALFINGER is seeking a Senior Process Expert SAP FI/CO to lead end-to-end finance processes within S/4Hana. You will be the central contact for FI/CO topics and collaborate with IT and Finance across the global organization.

The role requires a degree in business/finance, strong SAP FI/CO expertise, and excellent communication. English is required; German is a plus. The position offers hybrid work patterns and opportunities for international career growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent.
• Experience in finance or controlling within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in the SAP FI and modules, including cross-functional integration knowledge; ideally with key-user experience or willingness to develop these skills.
• Analytical, structured and process-oriented team player with strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior SAP FI/CO process expert with deep S/4Hana process and data model expertise.
• Ensure adherence to global S/4Hana finance standards and guide stakeholders on process governance.
• Analyze, document and continuously optimize finance and cross-functional processes.
• Translate business requirements into S/4Hana-compliant functional designs.
• Serve as key interface between Finance and IT, supporting projects, testing and user enablement.

Senior Process Expert SAP FI/CO (f/m/d)

In this senior role, you act as the central point of contact for all SAP FI/CO functional and system-related topics, ensuring harmonized, stable and efficient end-to-end finance processes across the organization.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.241,02 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
