Huawei's Boltzmann Research Center in Vienna seeks a Senior Power Electronics & Magnetics Engineer to lead end-to-end design of high-density power converters for ICT applications. Qualifikationen

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering with focus on power electronics or magnetics.
• Hands-on experience with power supply design for data centers, telecoms or HPC.
• Proficient in PCB design tools for high-density power routing.
• Expertise in high density planar magnetics design and manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of buck, boost, LLC topologies.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Scripting in Python for automating simulations and data analysis.
• Experience with multi-physics simulations involving thermal, mechanical, and electrical domains.

Aufgaben

• End-to-end design of high-density, board-mounted power supplies.
• Design and optimize magnetic components like inductors and transformers.
• Perform 2D/3D magnetic field simulations to optimize electromagnetic components.
• Design and optimize on-board magnetics (planar transformers, integrated inductors).
• Prototype collaboration and testing to validate simulations.
• Develop custom simulation tools and automation workflows.
• Establish cooperation with industry and universities in Europe.
