Job summary

SwissTechNova is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Life Sciences Capital Projects across Europe. You will lead cross‑functional teams from concept through commissioning, coordinating customers, engineering, contractors and suppliers to deliver high‑quality facilities for healthcare innovation.

The role combines technical engineering leadership with strategic thinking, strong communication in English and German, and a willingness to travel regularly to project sites across Europe.

Qualifications

• Approximately 8+ years of project management experience in technical, engineering, industrial or infrastructure environments.
• Experience delivering projects through engineering/design and field execution phases.
• Experience managing installation, construction and commissioning activities.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience managing customer relationships in technically demanding environments.
• Experience within Life Sciences industry including GMP-regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering and capital projects through their complete lifecycle.
• Act as the primary interface between customers, engineering teams, contractors and suppliers.
• Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to high quality standards.
• Anticipate technical, organizational and resource challenges before they impact execution.
• Develop practical mitigation strategies and maintain project momentum.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts professionally.
• Drive collaboration across international and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support commercial activities, planning and resource management.
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery through innovation, digitalisation and continuous improvement.
• Take ownership beyond formal responsibilities to ensure success.
