Job summary
Easelink in Graz, Austria is seeking a firmware engineer to develop and implement embedded software for industrial and automotive applications. You will take technical ownership of projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet timelines and quality targets.
A degree in computer science or a related field and several years of firmware experience in mechatronics are required; experience with ISO 26262 is preferred, and AUTOSAR/ASPICE knowledge is a plus.
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, telematics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related field.
- Several years of firmware development experience for complex mechatronic systems.
- Experience with safety-critical software in industrial/automotive environments (ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
- AUTOSAR and/or ASPICE knowledge is advantageous.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong solution-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement firmware for embedded systems meeting industrial and automotive requirements.
- Design and develop software architectures in collaboration with other engineering teams.
- Take technical ownership of development projects and ensure timelines, costs, and quality are met.
- Organize and conduct reviews and approve new software releases.
- Provide technical leadership and development support to software team members.
- Drive continuous process improvements and adopt new methods.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Software.
