SOS Childrens Villages seeks a Finance & Controlling Advisor (Humanitarian Action) to lead budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for our humanitarian portfolio. You will develop tools, monitor funds, and support capacity building across national offices and partners.

The role requires 5–8 years in finance with international exposure, strong English, and willingness to travel up to 20%. Located in Vienna or other listed locations, with cross-country coordination for donor-funded programs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA/ACCA/CMA certification is an advantage.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in finance operations, financial management, or programme finance.
• At least 3 years in international or humanitarian context.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% of the time.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Desirable: proficiency in Spanish, French, or Arabic.

Aufgaben

• Budget development support for large-scale humanitarian interventions.
• Monitor departmental budget and forecasts, provide regular updates to management.
• Produce consolidated financial data and analyses for decision-making.
• Develop and maintain financial tools and reporting formats.
• Coach and train finance staff across national and field teams.
• Coordinate funding transfers and cash-flow planning.
• Ensure compliance with policies and donor requirements.
• Uphold safeguarding and Code of Conduct responsibilities.
