Jobbeschreibung

We are LSP – Light Sensors & Photonics, one of three business units within ams OSRAM, advancing the digitalization of light. At LSP, we go beyond traditional sensing—combining light, silicon, and system expertise to enable digital photonics solutions. Our focus is clear: powering next-generation applications in data centers, AR/VR, mobile and automotive, where light becomes a critical interface for data, perception, and interaction. This evolution marks a shift from components to integrated photonics systems —driving performance, scalability, and innovation in high-growth segments.

  • Contribute to technology transfer, development and ramp-up
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (process integration, equipment engineering, quality, R&D)
  • Develop and optimize CMOS process modules within wafer fabrication
  • Lead and participate in structured problem-solving to identify root causes of process-related issues and implement sustainable corrective actions
  • Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) to understand process interactions
  • Analyze experimental results and draw technical conclusions
  • Coordinate activities across global engineering organizations
  • Successfully completed studies in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Several years of experience (~ 2-5 years) in semiconductor manufacturing or a related field
  • Understanding of CMOS process flows, device basics, and fabrication methods (e.g., lithography, etch, deposition, implantation, metrology)
  • Data-driven mindset with exposure to engineering and analysis tools
  • Initial experience in coordinating or contributing to technical projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a structured approach
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work in international teams
  • Proactive and ownership-driven attitude
  • Fluency in English
