Qualifikationen

• Degree in CS, Electronics, or related field (TU/FH or equivalent).
• 5+ years of embedded Linux on ARM-based platforms.
• Strong C programming; C++ is a plus.
• Experience with embedded Linux tech: U-Boot, Linux Kernel, Yocto, Git.
• Solid understanding of Linux architecture, security concepts, secure boot, access control.
• Secure-by-design mindset and secure software development practices.
• Experience with AI-based tools is a plus.
• Team player with good communication and a learning mindset.
• Very good English; German a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded Linux distributions for ARM-based platforms.
• Own and evolve core system components: bootloader, kernel, drivers, libraries, utilities.
• Optimize performance: boot time, CPU, memory footprint for industrial apps.
• Lead hardware bring-up with electronics and hardware teams.
• Maintain and enhance build and integration environments, especially Yocto-based.
• Design and maintain security features and ensure system hardening.
• Mitigate vulnerabilities and apply CVE fixes.
• Contribute to secure-by-design practices and knowledge sharing.
