Zusammenfassung

TTControl GmbH in Vienna is seeking a Senior Embedded Linux & Cybersecurity Engineer to design and maintain ARM‑based embedded Linux platforms for high‑performance operator panels. You will drive security features, system hardening, and OTA patching while collaborating with hardware teams to bring up new platforms.

You should bring 5+ years of embedded Linux on ARM, strong C skills, familiarity with U‑Boot/Yocto/Git, and knowledge of secure boot, access control, and cybersecurity standards.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years hands-on embedded Linux on ARM
• Strong programming skills in C; C++ a plus
• Experience with embedded Linux technologies and tools (U‑Boot, Linux Kernel, Yocto, Git)
• Knowledge of secure boot, access control, and system hardening
• Familiarity with IEC 62443 / ISO/SAE 21434 is an advantage

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded Linux distributions for ARM-based platforms
• Own and evolve core system components including bootloader, Linux kernel, device drivers, and utilities
• Optimize system performance (boot time, CPU, memory) for industrial apps
• Lead hardware bring-up and commissioning with electronics/hardware teams
• Maintain and enhance build/integration environments, especially Yocto-based
• Design, implement, and maintain security features and ensure system hardening
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate vulnerabilities (CVE handling, patches, OTA updates)
• Promote secure-by-design principles to strengthen resilience
• Contribute to teamwork, knowledge sharing and mentoring
