Job summary

European Tech Recruit seeks a Principal Embedded Crypto Software Developer to drive cryptographic implementations across embedded platforms, including Post-Quantum cryptography, on ARM Cortex-M and RISC-V. You will lead design, code, and security evaluations in collaboration with OS, firmware, and evaluation teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in cryptography and embedded security, deep experience with ECC/RSA/AES/SHA-2/SHA-3, and proficiency in Rust; a PhD or MSc is welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in a relevant field with strong cryptography background.
• Proven experience with embedded security and cryptographic primitives.

Responsibilities

• Specify and implement cryptographic algorithms across platforms, including PQC.
• Develop secure software countermeasures against physical attacks (SCA/FI).
• Lead cryptographic software architecture, integration, evaluation, and certification.
• Collaborate with OS/firmware and security evaluation teams to improve countermeasures.
