Unknown Company in Graz is seeking a Principal Embedded Software Engineer - Crypto to join their R&D centre and work on cryptographic libraries that defend against physical and logical attacks, including Post-Quantum Crypto.

Applicants should hold an MSc/PhD in a relevant field with multiple years of embedded security software and cryptography experience, especially in C. Post-Quantum Crypto or RISC-V exposure is advantageous. The role offers flexible hybrid working with two days at home.

Qualifications

• MSc/PhD in a relevant subject with several years’ embedded security/cryptography experience.
• Strong understanding of crypto primitives and embedded C for countermeasures against side-channel/fault attacks.
• Post-Quantum Cryptography or RISC-V exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Specify and implement cryptographic algorithms with software countermeasures against side-channel and fault attacks.
• Develop state-of-the-art cryptographic libraries protecting against physical and logical attacks.
• Collaborate in a global R+D environment, based in Graz with international options.
