Job summary

Sportradar, the world’s leading sports technology company, in Vienna, seeks a data science expert to join the Quants team. You will build predictive models for pre-match and in-play betting, prepare data, visualize results, and publish robust Java libraries.

The role requires a Master’s degree, advanced modelling skills (GLMs, time-series, Bayesian methods, ML), and fluency in English. It offers a hybrid office-first environment, collaboration with product owners, developers and traders, and

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Software Engineering or closely related field
• Experienced in predictive modelling with GLMs, Time-Series, Bayesian statistics, MCMC, neural networks
• Very strong skills in R or Python
• Advanced coding and analytical skills
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills
• Team player able to collaborate with new teams immediately
• Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Learn how predictive models look like in a betting context and build models on your own
• Support the team in maintaining the codebase
• Research new methods for future applications
