Job summary

Sportradar, a world-leading sports technology company, seeks a Senior Game Mathematician for its Playradar Casino Games portfolio in Austria. You will design and validate the mathematical models behind casino games, ensuring robust RTP and engaging gameplay.

Collaborate with Product, Game Design, Engineering and Compliance to translate concepts into sound mechanics, run simulations, document specs, and support certification and production readiness in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in game mathematics, probability modelling or data science.
Strong understanding of probability theory, combinatorics and statistics for RNG-based games.
Ability to develop, validate and document mathematical models with limited supervision.
Commercial experience in Java-based applications and production environments.
Proficiency with Python, R, SQL, Excel/VBA or similar tools for simulations.

Responsibilities

Design and develop mathematical models for casino games (slots, crash, plinko, etc.).
Create, test and document probability models, payout structures, and RTP configurations.
Collaborate with Product, Game Design, Engineering and Compliance to translate concepts into mechanics.
Run simulations, analyze outcomes and validate performance against probability distributions.
Prepare clear mathematical specifications for Engineering, QA, Compliance and certification partners.
