Zusammenfassung

Finmatics is hiring a Senior Data Scientist (m/f/d) to lead data science initiatives and shape our AI-driven product strategy. You will own the full technical stack for development and deployment, focusing on Generative AI and agentic workflows, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-impact insights.

The role requires advanced degrees and hands-on experience with ML models, LLM frameworks, and cloud deployment, with fully remote work from Germany or nearby regions.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, CS, Statistics, or related field or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Hands‑On experience with Generative AI and Agentic workflows
• Proven experience in taking part in complex projects
• Expertise in modern language models and ML frameworks
• Experience with modern LLM‑Supporting Frameworks and Tools
• Proficiency in Python, R or other strongly-typed languages
• Good knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment processes

• Shape and implement the company’s data science strategy and drive innovation, with a primary focus on Generative AI and Agentic workflows
• Identify opportunities to leverage data for business value and impact
• Take ownership of the full technical stack for development and deployment
• Design, build, and maintain scalable machine learning models and efficient data pipelines
• Ensure robust data management and engineering practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver insights
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
