Job summary

Erste Digital is seeking a Lead ETL Developer / Technical Architect to shape architecture and deliver scalable data platforms for Credit Risk analytics within Erste Group. You will own end-to-end data platform design, drive modernization, and lead engineering teams using Databricks, Spark and cloud-native tech.

The role combines hands-on data engineering with strategic leadership, focusing on performance, governance and analytics readiness in a bank-wide data ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on expertise in data engineering and architecture for enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Experience designing end-to-end Credit Risk data platforms and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture for Credit Risk data platforms.
• Design ETL/ELT solutions leveraging Databricks Lakehouse architecture.
• Lead ETL/ELT data pipelines across multiple source systems.
• Develop high-performance Spark and Databricks solutions processing risk data.
• Establish development standards, governance and coding practices.
• Provide technical leadership across the delivery lifecycle.
