Job summary

DenizBank AG is seeking an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to evaluate credit proposals and perform in-depth financial analysis within a multinational team in Austria. The role supports the Credit Committee and ensures strict adherence to internal risk policies and Austrian/EU regulations.

You will work in a dynamic environment, monitor covenants, review documentation, and contribute to risk reporting while enjoying a hybrid work arrangement and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk analysis or a similar role.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of corporate lending and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with EU/Austrian regulations.
• German language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit proposals based on financial, industrial and structural factors.
• Perform financial analysis (balance sheet, cash flow, profitability, etc.).
• Prepare credit risk assessment reports.
• Support the Credit Committee’s decision-making process.
• Monitor covenants and conditions.
• Follow up on financial documentation.
• Coordinate with the relevant departments to obtain missing information.
• Ensure data completeness and accuracy.
• Apply internal credit policies and procedures.
• Identify and flag potential risks.
• Support risk mitigation actions.
• Contribute to reporting and process improvements.
• Monitor specialized lending exposures.
