Zusammenfassung

Raiffeisen Digital Bank, part of the RBI Group, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer for its Vienna office to build and run cloud-native platforms delivering reliable banking services. You will manage Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and cross-functional collaboration to drive platform excellence.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps, strong AWS/Kubernetes skills, and proactive reliability focus. Enjoy modern tooling, security governance, and a supportive environment in Austria.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional DevOps/related engineering experience.
• Hands-on AWS expertise with services like EKS, ECS, RDS, MSK, KMS, API Gateway, Route53, and Load Balancing.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts and architecture, with hands-on experience building/running clusters, Docker containers, and EKS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Ability to develop and maintain modern CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows (GitHub Actions, GitOps).
• Strong Linux, networking, cloud networking and security knowledge including TLS, firewalls, DNS, ACLs.
• Proficient in Bash and Python scripting and English communication.

Aufgaben

• Build and evolve the cloud infrastructure and platform powering our digital banking services.
• Operate and enhance Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized environments.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery.
• Create automation for IaC provisioning, configuration management, and operations.
• Monitor platform health with proactive incident management and RCA.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to advance platform capabilities.
• Ensure security, governance and compliance across cloud environments.
• Contribute to cloud modernization, FinOps, and DevOps process improvements.
