Qualifikationen

• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes networking and microservice architecture.
• Developer-oriented Kubernetes networking experience (Services, Ingress/Gateway API, NetworkPolicies).
• Experience with certificate management and DNS management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and GitOps workflows.

Aufgaben

• Deploy, operate, and maintain core application networking components on Kubernetes.
• Design and enforce mTLS policies and traffic management rules within the service mesh.
• Manage rollout and migration of workloads between Istio sidecar and Ambient Mesh mode.
• Automate DNS and certificate lifecycle across cloud providers.
• Configure load balancing using Gateway API and cloud-native ingress solutions.
• Automate deployments with CI/CD and GitOps (ArgoCD/Jenkins).
• Collaborate with platform and product teams to ensure secure, observable service-to-service communication.
• Work with AWS/Azure/GCP to ensure resilient networking across environments.
• Participate in troubleshooting and incident resolution for networking services.
• Improve service monitoring and observability for mesh components.
