Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend-Leaning Full Stack) with a focus on backend systems for a Switzerland-based role. You will own end-to-end projects including payment recovery, billing, data pipelines, and integrations with third-party services.

Work will emphasize autonomy, strong engineering judgment, and AI-assisted development, with a 80/20 backend-to-frontend split and collaboration across a distributed team. The role is fully remote with global team overlap.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Backend engineering expertise with ability to contribute across the full stack.
• Experience with Python, Next.js, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Ability to design, build, ship, and maintain production systems.
• Strong system design skills and sound technical judgment.

Aufgaben

• Own software projects end to end from objectives to production ownership.
• Design, build, and maintain backend systems for payment recovery and billing workflows.
• Develop integrations with payment providers and external services.
• Build data models, ingestion pipelines, and reconciliation processes.
• Improve retry, orchestration, and payment recovery infrastructure for reliability.
• Contribute to ML experiments and data-driven initiatives.
• Develop email and push notification workflows and customer-facing features.
• Collaborate across frontend with Next.js/React when needed.
• Make architectural decisions independently amid evolving requirements.
• Review code and participate in agile practices in a distributed team.
• Advance engineering processes as product scales.
