Job summary

Tieto Tech Consulting is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to design and implement AI-enabled workflows in a cloud-driven environment. You will work on generative AI, large language models, and AI agents, turning prototypes into enterprise-grade solutions.

You will take technical ownership, build on Azure platforms, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable AI capabilities for customers. German and English proficiency is essential for client communications.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI solutions in production.
• Practical experience with LLM-based systems: RAG, agents, or GenAI.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python: testing, APIs, CI/CD.
• Good understanding of cloud-based AI architectures and production environments (Azure).
• Understanding of data engineering and data integration concepts.
• Structured approach to quality evaluation of systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agents and workflows to solve concrete business problems.
• Take ownership of applied AI solutions - architecture decisions, code quality.
• Build enterprise-grade solutions on modern AI platforms, mainly Azure.
• Set up environments for agentic workloads at scale - GenAIOps, CI/CD, observability.
• Work with customers' data landscapes, data pipelines, and data quality.
• Integrate AI solutions into customers' IT landscape and hand over to operations teams.
• Support pre-sales with technical scoping and estimates; run workshops to transfer AI know-how.
• Grow the team through code reviews and mentoring.
