Erste Group in Vienna seeks an experienced Securities Services professional to manage and develop our global custody network.

You will work with Operations, Product, Risk and Compliance across international markets, conduct due diligence, and drive cost-efficient network optimization.

Fluent in English is required; German is a plus; occasional international travel may be needed.

• Understanding of custody, settlement, corporate actions and the securities services landscape.

The Securities Network Management team oversees Erste Group’s international custody network and strategic market infrastructure relationships. We enable secure and efficient securities services by combining market expertise, strong partnerships and continuous network optimization.

Your Tasks

• Manage and further develop relationships with global and local custodians, CSDs and other market infrastructure providers across international securities markets
• Monitor market, regulatory and industry developments and assess their impact on our securities services network
• Conduct due diligence reviews, service evaluations and risk assessments of existing and prospective network partners
• Partner closely with Operations, Product Management, Risk, Compliance and Business teams to ensure efficient and resilient securities services
• Drive network optimization initiatives, contract negotiations and strategic projects to enhance service quality, risk management and cost efficiency

Your Background

• Several years of experience in Securities Services, Global Custody, Network Management, Asset Servicing or a related capital markets function
• Strong understanding of custody, settlement, corporate actions and the global securities services landscape
• Proven ability to manage external service providers, stakeholder relationships and complex cross-functional topics
• Excellent analytical skills combined with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Willingness to undertake occasional international business travel for due diligence visits
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage

• The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 51.336,04 gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
