Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud or infrastructure security, ideally in containerized environments.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker and cloud-native security concepts.
• Familiarity with OIDC, OAuth2, API gateways and identity management.
• Knowledge of network segmentation, firewalling and secure service communication.
• Experience with centralized logging, monitoring and incident investigation.
• A mindset for automation, reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Harden Kubernetes- and Docker-based environments.
• Define and enforce security baselines for clusters, workloads and network boundaries.
• Ensure secure deployment practices, rolling updates, and container integrity.
• Manage and optimize OIDC and OAuth2-based authentication and authorization.
• Maintain strict access controls, token policies and role-based permissions.
• Support integration with enterprise identity providers.
• Work with our API gateway to enforce token validation, rate limiting, and secure routing.
• Ensure all services communicate exclusively via secure, encrypted channels.
• Contribute to a robust, versioned API security model.
• Maintain centralized logging, audit trails and real-time observability.
• Investigate anomalies, security alerts and suspicious activity.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and strengthen defenses.
• Enforce least-privilege access across cloud-native network environments.
• Maintain firewall rules, service isolation and secure service-to-service communication.
• Support backup, restore and disaster recovery strategies with a security-first mindset.
• Automate security checks, compliance validations and configuration audits.
• Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines.
