Job summary

AFOL Milano -Agenzia per la formazione, l'orientamento e il lavoro in Austria is seeking seasonal kitchen staff for hotels and restaurants in Tyrol and Vorarlberg. You will perform mise en place, prep, cooking, plating and stock management in a fast paced gastronomy environment.

Ideal candidates have basic English or German (A2), prior professional experience, and a motivated, precise, friendly attitude. Full-time shifts include mornings, lunch, and split schedules, with meals and accommodation

Qualifications

• Basic communication in English or German at A2 level, with clear ability to communicate.
• Previous professional experience in hospitality or food service.
• Motivated, precise and friendly approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Mise en place: preparing and organising ingredients
• Chopping/Slicing: cutting vegetables, fruit and protein
• Cooking: stir-frying, boiling, baking, grilling or roasting food
• Plating up: arranging food attractively on plates
• Garnishing: adding decorative elements to dishes
• Cleaning: keeping workstations and equipment clean; washing up
• Menu planning: collaborating on menu creation
• Stock management: tracking stock and ingredients
• Food safety: follow safe handling practices
