Zusammenfassung

Terma Group in Vienna is seeking a Software Engineer to develop advanced SATCOM and SDR technologies within Terma Space R&D. You will design, implement, test, and verify high‑performance software and DSP solutions across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with Software, RF, DSP, and Systems Engineers.

Fluency in English is required; German is a plus. A degree in a relevant engineering field with ~5+ years of experience, strong C/C++/Python skills, DSP/SDR experience, and familiarity

Strong C, C++ and Python programming skills.
DSP, SDR, and satellite communications experience.
GNU/Linux development, CI/CD and modern tools (GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, Bash).
Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and communicate with stakeholders.

Aufgaben

Lead SDR modem development and satellite communication tech.
Design, implement, integrate and verify DSP algorithms across the full software lifecycle.
Develop algorithms for SATCOM and 5G-NTN (OFDM, spread spectrum, etc.).
Support integration with DSP, FPGA and RF hardware; RF test systems.
Conduct R&D activities on emerging communications tech; contribute to proposals.
Produce engineering documentation and support customers during deployment.
