As our new Advanced Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and evolution of Terma SPECTRA, our Software Defined Radio modem and platform for satellite communications and ground-station applications. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, digital signal processing, RF systems and satellite communications, helping to design and implement advanced technologies for demanding operational environments.
The position offers the opportunity to contribute across the entire software lifecycle, from requirements engineering and architecture to implementation, verification, maintenance and operational support. You will also support customers and stakeholders in the integration and operation of ground-station solutions.
You will join Terma Space R&D - Power & Ground Systems in Vienna, working in a highly specialised and multidisciplinary engineering environment. The team develops advanced satellite communications and ground-system technologies, with expertise spanning software, DSP, SDR, RF, FPGA and systems engineering. The culture is collaborative, international and technically driven.
You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. German is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Collective Agreement of the Austrian Electrical and Electronics Industry which is at least EUR 3.888,53 gross per month (x 14) and an overpayment depending on your qualifications and experience.
