Our laboratory investigates the molecular mechanisms that ensure faithful chromosome segregation during meiosis and preserve genome stability. We combine genetics, genome engineering, advanced microscopy, biochemistry and quantitative genomics in budding yeast and mammalian germ cells to understand how chromosome architecture regulates meiotic recombination and fertility.
Current projects involve CRISPR-mediated genome engineering, mouse models, chromosome biology, super-resolution microscopy, proteomics and genome-wide approaches to study DNA repair and chromosome dynamics.
Equal opportunities for everyone: We look forward to diverse personalities in the team!
