The University of Vienna's Department of Botany and Biodiversity Research seeks a laboratory manager for cytogenetics and genome size measurement. You will oversee the cytology lab, assist on FWF-funded projects, and support teaching activities.

The advertised position is based in the Department of Botany and Biodiversity Research at the University of Vienna, within the Evolutionary Plant Cytogenetics research group (cytogenetics.univie.ac.at), headed by Prof. Dr. Hanna Schneeweiss and located at Rennweg 14, 1030 Vienna.
We are an international team of students and postdocs working on the processes and patterns of genome evolution in plants at different levels of genome organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical management of our cytogenetics and genome size measurement laboratory, contribute to FWF-funded and other research projects, and support regular teaching activities.
