Job summary

Golden Pet Brands is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for the Central Midwest. This remote role covers Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Nebraska, with about 75% travel to grow the pet-focused retail base and new accounts. You will lead distribution, manage accounts, and align with HQ on joint business planning.

The ideal candidate has 3 years in pet retail sales and 3 years selling through distributor reps, plus a bachelor’s degree. A strong network in the independent pet channel is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in the Pet Industry selling to retailers at store level.
• 3 years of experience selling through distributor sales reps.
• Strong understanding of pet distributors and retailers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new stores within assigned territory.
• Manage and grow territory level accounts through HQ relationships.
• Build distribution and store level relationships with excellent service.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and drive product adoption.
• Provide sales forecasts and reports to management.
• Monitor market trends and competitive activity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for order fulfillment.
• Execute launches and promotions; attend industry events.
• Understand independent pet channel and pet industry dynamics.
