Job summary
Kontron Transportation is seeking an experienced professional to lead technical and operational supplier management and lifecycle activities for our electronics products. You will collaborate with engineering, product management, and supply chain teams to ensure quality, availability and lifecycle continuity.
The role requires a degree in engineering, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in supplier management or supply chain.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
- Occasional travel.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with databases, e.g. MS Access, is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Work within Lifecycle Expertise Management to improve products with key suppliers.
- Coordinate hardware product files and Engineering Change (EC) processes.
- Manage supplier relationships for operational and engineering topics.
- Coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and First Piece Evaluations (FPE).
