Job summary

BD in Vienna, Austria seeks a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate with developers, product owners and cross-functional teams in a Scrum environment to turn vision into reliable software.

Responsibilities include validating user stories and bugs, exploratory and automated testing with Cypress/Playwright, and reporting defects with clear steps.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in CS/Engineering/Life Sciences or equivalent work experience.
Professional experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

Test User Stories and Bugs: verify features and bug fixes against specs.
Exploratory testing to uncover issues and improve quality.
Automated testing: write and maintain Cypress tests.
Manual test execution per Program Increment.
Defect reporting with clear reproduction steps.
Collaborate with developers and product owners.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
