Job summary

Alignerr is seeking German-speaking voice actors to record high-quality vocal samples and evaluate AI-generated speech for naturalness and expressiveness. This is a fully remote, hourly contract role with flexible, asynchronous scheduling and no AI cloning involved.

You should have a professional recording setup, native or near-native German, and experience in voice acting or related fields. You’ll work independently and provide clear feedback to improve AI voice quality.

Qualifications

• Fluent German or native-level proficiency.
• Experience in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or related field.
• Own a high-quality microphone and a quiet, controlled recording environment.
• Deliver clear, expressive vocal performances and assess pronunciation, tone, pacing and clarity.

Responsibilities

• Record high-quality German voice samples based on provided scripts and prompts.
• Evaluate AI-generated voice outputs for naturalness and expressiveness.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve AI speech quality.
• Review and refine scripts to ensure clarity and natural delivery.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
