Acclaro is seeking 2 experienced Freelance German MTPE Linguists (English to German) to support IT and software localization projects. This remote freelance role offers paid, project-based work for native-level German writers with MTPE or linguistic review experience.

Responsibilities include post-editing MT content, translating when needed, ensuring linguistic accuracy, terminology consistency, and adherence to client style guides and glossaries, across IT, SaaS, and cloud content.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in German.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• At least 3 years of professional localization experience.
• Experience with IT, software, SaaS, cloud computing content.
• Familiarity with translation memories and style guides.

Responsibilities

• Post-edit machine-translated IT content from English into German.
• Translate content from English into German when required by the project.
• Review localized content for accuracy, fluency, terminology, and consistency.
• Apply client glossaries, style guides, and translation memories.
