Lat Nitrogen is seeking an Energy & Plant Efficiency Engineer (m/f/d) to optimize energy management and reduce greenhouse gas emissions across plants. You will collaborate with stakeholders to implement strategic energy initiatives and ensure compliance with local and EU regulations.

You will coordinate energy studies, data collection, and reporting, while supporting audits and the introduction of new energy technologies across sites.

Formación

• Master's degree in engineering or equivalent
• Experience in production, technical development, or energy management is favorable
• Understanding of production processes and interdependencies between plants
• Experience in energy management and GHG reduction programs
• Knowledge of engineering tools
• Good business sense and customer orientation
• Strong project management and analytical thinking
• High safety, integrity and ethics awareness
• Strong networking abilities in international/multicultural settings

Responsabilidades

• Support and coordinate the overall group Energy & GHG program and targets
• Co-develop energy and GHG initiatives with plants and locations
• Coordinate energy studies, screenings and plant benchmarks; manage data collection and forecasting
• Coordinate and ensure energy and emissions management systems at locations; support audits
• Pursue national funding, subsidies and tax relief for energy-related studies
• Identify and implement energy efficiency studies and projects; track emerging energy technologies
• Support plant profitability through benchmarking activities
