Job summary

Zühlke Engineering AG in Vienna region is seeking an Advanced Data Engineer to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines, working closely with clients to tailor data solutions that drive business insights.

You will collaborate with Architects, Software Engineers and Data Scientists across industries, utilize Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow and Kubernetes, and contribute to agile delivery and data governance while using German and English daily.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in data or software engineering positions.
• Experience designing and maintaining high-quality data products for data consumers.
• Knowledge of data architectures (Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, Medallion, Data Products, streaming, batch).
• Experience with Cloud Data Platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS SageMaker.
• Fluency in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain distributed data pipelines.
• Collaborate with Architects, Software Engineers and Data Scientists.
• Deliver projects in an agile environment and iterate to enable early value.
• Extrapolate diverse data sources into reusable datasets.
