Zusammenfassung

Zühlke is seeking an Advanced Data Engineer in Vienna to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines that empower data-driven decisions across industries. You will work closely with clients to understand data needs and translate them into scalable data solutions, leveraging Spark, Delta Lake, and cloud data platforms.

Qualifikationen

• University degree (Uni, FH) in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a comparable education.
• At least 3 years in data or software engineering positions.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining high quality productive data products that meet the needs of data consumers.
• An understanding of common approaches to data analysis, data visualization, and optionally data science so you can produce the right data for data consumers.
• Foundational knowledge of data architectures (Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, Medallion, Data Products, streaming, batch processing).
• Experience with Cloud Data Platforms like Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake or Amazon Sagemaker.
• Hands-on with technologies such as Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Airflow, Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, FastAPI, and programming languages (Python, Scala, SQL, R).
• Hands-on experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Fluency in German and English.
