Zühlke Group is seeking an Advanced Data Engineer in Austria to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for diverse industries. You will work closely with clients to tailor data solutions that drive insights and business value.

The role emphasizes collaboration, scalable data products, and a strong foundation in modern data architectures. Applicants should have 3+ years in data or software roles, experience with cloud data platforms, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years in data or software engineering roles.
• Experience building high-quality productive data products for data consumers.
• Knowledge of data analysis, data visualization, and data science basics.
• Understanding data architectures (Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, Medallion, Data Products).
• Experience with Cloud Data Platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or similar.
• Hands-on with Spark, Delta Lake, Airflow, Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, FastAPI, and programming languages (Python, Scala, SQL, R).
• Fluency in German and English is required for this position.

Aufgaben

• Advise customers toward technical data solutions.
• Explain the what, why and how of proposed solutions to stakeholders.
• Develop, test, and monitor distributed data processing pipelines.
• Extrapolate versatile data sets and sources to produce high-quality datasets.
• Collaborate with Architects, Software Engineers, and Data Scientists.
• Ensure data products meet producers and consumers needs.
• Deliver projects in an agile way, iterating to add value early.
• Stay technically sharp and open to learning new technologies.
