Job summary

Raiffeisen Group IT GmbH is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer in Regulatory Data & Data Warehouse to bridge business needs with our data engineering team. You will translate regulatory reporting requirements into precise specifications for Databricks, ensuring data is accurate, complete and timely for groups such as Regulatory Reporting, Risk, and Finance.

In this role you will work in an agile team, profile source data (MS SQL Server, Delta Lake), define data quality indicators, test data

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in regulatory reporting, risk data or finance data within banking.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, profiling and reconciliation.
• Experience eliciting requirements and writing functional specs.
• Knowledge of data quality management and data lineage.
• Familiarity with BCBS 239 and data governance concepts.
• Excellent communication with business and IT; agile team experience.
• Fluent in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document data requirements for Databricks implementations.
• Profile source data to identify gaps and quality issues.
• Create source-to-target mappings, business rules and data dictionaries.
• Define data contracts with owners and engineers.
• Specify data quality indicators (DQIs) and perform checks; monitor results.
• Test data deliveries and validate with business users; run UAT.
• Support migration of datasets to automated daily delivery via Databricks.
• Contribute to BCBS 239 and ECB RDARR documentation.
• Collaborate in an agile team with Data Product Owner.
