Zusammenfassung

Scalable Capital is building and operating the infrastructure behind mission-critical, real-time trading systems. This platform-focused role covers AWS, Linux hosts, networking, containers, and observability, ensuring tail-latency and reliability across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will own end-to-end infrastructure, design high-performance setups, and partner with engineers on production readiness, deployment safety, and incident response, while leveraging Terraform and IaC practices.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in CS, Engineering, or similar.
• Experience with dedicated host strategies and low-latency networking.
• Proven track record owning production infra for distributed or real-time systems.
• Hands-on AWS: EC2, VPC, IAM, KMS, S3, SQS, SNS.
• Strong networking: routing, DNS, load balancers, security groups.
• Terraform and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Deep knowledge of Linux, containers, runtime debugging, performance tuning.
• Experience with stateful services, active/standby failover and controlled cutovers.
• Strong analytical thinking and clear communication.

Aufgaben

• Own infrastructure end to end across cloud and physical environments.
• Design and improve infrastructure for performance sensitive services with benchmarks.
• Design, operate and troubleshoot critical network paths across VPCs, DNS, load balancers, etc.
• Build and improve infrastructure as code and deployment workflows.
• Improve reliability, failover, recovery, and operational safety across runtimes and services.
• Harden platform capabilities around IAM, KMS, secrets, and secure access.
• Raise observability with dashboards, alerts, tracing, and incident tooling.
• Partner with software engineers on reusable infra patterns and CI/CD.
