Zusammenfassung

BRUSA Elektronik AG is seeking an experienced R&D Director to shape the global R&D strategy and lead an international engineering organization across Switzerland and China. You will own the technology roadmap focusing on power electronics and drive development projects with accountability for quality, cost, schedule, and resources.

You will foster a high-performance, innovation-driven culture, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and represent the R&D organization to customers and partners

Qualifikationen

• You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering or a comparable technical field; a Ph.D. with a focus on power electronics is a plus.
• You have several years of leadership and management experience in an international development organization, ideally in an industrial setting.
• You combine in-depth expertise in power electronics with extensive experience in the development of complex power electronics systems. You understand the interrelationships between hardware, software, and system development and can successfully steer development activities throughout the entire product development process.
• You know how to successfully lead international teams, provide targeted professional development for employees, and implement sustainable change processes.
• You think strategically and entrepreneurially, act proactively, and demonstrate a strong focus on decision-making and results.
• You are fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
• You enjoy working in an international environment and are willing to travel internationally from time to time.

What you will move in this role:

• Together with the Executive Management Team, you will develop the global R&D strategy and drive its consistent execution in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.


• You will own the technology and innovation roadmap with a focus on power electronics, identifying relevant market and technology trends at an early stage.


• As a member of the Leadership Team, you will lead and develop an international engineering organization across Switzerland and China, fostering a high-performance and innovation-driven culture.


• You will ensure the successful planning and execution of development projects, taking overall responsibility for quality, cost, schedule, and resource management.


• By continuously enhancing processes, methodologies, and systems throughout the product lifecycle, you will drive sustainable improvements in efficiency, quality, and time-to-market.


• Working closely with customers and cross-functional teams including Project Management, Quality, Industrialization, Supply Chain, and Sales, you will create the conditions for sustainable growth and long-term business success.


• You will represent the R&D organization towards customers, partners, and other stakeholders, positioning the company as an innovative technology leader in the international marketplace.

What skills and experience you should bring:
