Job summary

INNIO Group is seeking a Project Specialist for Digital Service Applications to drive cross-functional service projects and align requirements with digital solutions. You will collaborate with the Digital team, Product Owners, and Field Service to ensure effective rollout and stakeholder communication.

The role focuses on prioritising developments, tracking KPIs, and supporting training across service departments to improve delivery and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s in engineering, economics or related field with high affinity for technical projects.
• Good experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Change management and process optimization experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of product management is beneficial.
• Knowledge of new technologies in after-sales or related technical area is helpful.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support senior team members in project management and align business and user requirements with digital solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities, track deliverables and ensure project scope.
• Maintain KPI tracking and reporting for digital service applications to improve transparency and adoption.

The Project Specialist for Digital Service Applications (m/f/d) is part of the Digital Service Tools team and significantly impacts the digital transformation of INNIO's Global Service Organization (=GSE), ensuring that digital applications are effectively leveraged to enhance service delivery and operational excellence. As a Project Specialist, you will mainly focus on cross functional Service projects related to digital applications and assist in a seamless and efficient execution across all Service departments. Collecting and aligning Service requirements with Digital enablers, support the roll‑out of new features and effectively providing and communicating feedback will be drivers for success.

You will closely collaborate with INNIO’s Digital team and Digital Product Owners and the wider GSE, Field Service and Tech Support teams to ensure seamless integration and communication across digital initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Project Management: Support more senior team members in managing projects, aligning business and user requirements with digital solutions. Actively educate the service organization on digital projects and support in gatekeeping for project requests.
• Program Management: Support cross-functional digital service projects by coordinating activities, tracking deliverables, and aligning business and user requirements with defined project scope.
• Value Proposition: Maintains KPI tracking and reporting for digital service applications to support transparency, adoption monitoring, and identification of improvement needs.
• Development and Implementation: Define requirements and help to prioritize developments and improvements. Monitor KPIs to ensure correct tool usage and project impact.
• Training and Development: Coordinate training materials, user guidance, and related support formats for digital service applications in cooperation with relevant stakeholders and end-users. Closely cooperate with stakeholders and end-users to ensure process adherence.
• Problem Solving: Address problems and translate issues into actionable items & problem statements.
• Service and Process Improvement: Act as a change agent for service and process improvements. Contribute to service and process improvement initiatives by identifying operational issues, structuring problem statements, and supporting execution of agreed actions.

Your Profile

• Bachelor/master’s in engineering, economics or any related area combined with high affinity to work on projects within a technical environment
• Good experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• First experience in change management and process optimization of high advantage
• Relevant product management know-how of advantage
• Know-how of new technologies in the field of After Sales or in a related technical area
• Willingness to travel (up to 10%)
• Business fluent in German and English, other languages are a plus
