Job summary

ABB in Austria is seeking a Project Manager in Automation to take overall responsibility for demanding projects in the process industries and hydropower. You will lead proposals, planning, execution and handover, while building long-term customer relationships.

Independent management of scope, schedule and cost, plus risk and change control, will be expected. The role includes site work, travel within Austria (about 20%), and collaboration across Sales, Engineering and Controlling.

Qualifications

• Minimum technical education in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Several years of experience managing technical projects.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; willingness to travel Austria (~20%).

Leveraging your technical expertise and project management experience, you will lead projects from the proposal phase through to successful completion – both technically and commercially.
