Job summary

Lenzing Group in Lenzing, Upper Austria, is seeking a Project Manager Innovation & Application Development (Hygiene & Wipes) for a maternity cover. You will lead innovation projects, coordinate trials, and translate findings into customer benefits, collaborating withSales, Product Management and Technical Customer Service.

The role requires a degree in engineering or related field, strong communication skills, and experience in R&D or technical support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in project management, product development, application development, R&D or technical customer support.
• Experience in nonwovens or hygiene applications is an advantage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical mindset and structured and independent working style.
• Comfortable in an international, multidisciplinary environment.
• English B2 level or higher; German A2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate innovation and development projects in hygiene and wipes applications.
• Plan, coordinate and evaluate trials with internal and external partners.
• Translate technical findings into customer benefits, product concepts and value propositions.
• Support Sales, Product Management and Technical Customer Service with application know-how and technical expertise.
• Identify market needs and development opportunities for fiber-based hygiene solutions.
• Prepare and present project results, technical reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate in innovation activities, claim development and IP generation.
• Network across functions and regions to support efficient project execution.

Purpose & key responsibilities of the role

Management and coordination of innovation and development projects in the field of hygiene and wipes applications

Planning, coordination and evaluation of trials in collaboration with internal and external partners

Translation of technical findings into customer-relevant benefits, product concepts and value propositions

Our expectations for this exciting role

Degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Biotechnology, Materials Science, Textile Technology, Paper Technology or a related field

Experience in project management, product development, application development, R&D or technical customer support

Experience in nonwovens or hygiene applications is considered an advantage

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Analytical mindset and structured and independent way of working

Comfortable working in an international and multidisciplinary environment

English language skills at B2 level or above, German language skills at A2 level or above

Please note: the initial expected duration for this position is 12-14 months (possibility for extension following this period)
