Lenzing AG, located in Austria, seeks a Business Development Manager for LENZING Nonwoven Technology (LNT) to drive commercialization and channel development across global markets. You will identify opportunities, lead go-to-market activities, and foster partnerships with manufacturers, converters and brand owners.

The role requires 7+ years in relevant fields, a strong background in nonwovens or related materials, and fluent English.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Sales Management, Marketing, Economics, Innovation Management or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Global Business Development, Sales, Product Management or Commercial Leadership focused on disruptive innovation.
• Strong background in the nonwovens, hygiene, wipes, filtration, medical or specialty materials industry.
• Proven track record in commercialization, customer relationship management, and contract negotiations with a value-driven mindset.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to drive highly profitable growth in new markets.
• Experience in managing strategic partnerships and cross-functional projects within international environments.
• Ability to translate technical expertise into tangible commercial value.
• Fluent English in communication and presentation.

Purpose & key responsibilities of the role

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the commercialization of LENZING(tm) Nonwoven Technology (LNT) technologies and products by developing market opportunities, building strategic customer partnerships, and leading go-to-market activities.

• You will be the key interface between customers, product development and external partners to accelerate market adoption and sustainable business growth of LNT.
• You will develop and execute commercialization and go-to-market strategies.
• You will identify and acquire new customers and business opportunities.
• You will build strategic partnerships with nonwoven manufacturers, converters, and brand owners.
• You will lead customer projects from concept to commercial implementation.
• You will negotiate commercial agreements, development contracts, and partnerships.
• You will translate customer and market needs into business opportunities and innovation projects.
• You will be the commercial voice of LNT at customer meetings, industry events and trade fairs, etc.

Our expectations for this exciting role

• You hold a Bachelor or Master's degree in Business, Sales Management, Marketing, Economics, Innovation Management, or a related field. MBA or additional commercial qualification is a plus.
• You bring 7+ years of experience in Global Business Development, Sales, Product Management, or Commercial Leadership focused on disruptive innovation.
• You have a strong background in the nonwovens, hygiene, wipes, filtration, medical, or specialty materials industry.
• You have a proven track record in commercialization, customer relationship management, and contract negotiations, underpinned by a value-driven mindset.
• You combine an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive highly profitable growth in new markets.
• You excel in managing strategic partnerships and cross-functional projects within international environments.
• You are able to translate technical expertise into tangible commercial value.
• You have fluent English language skills

The monthly gross salary for this position is according to the Austrian collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 4.700. (in Austria, other countries will vary) - with a willingness to overpay - depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system. We offer flexible working time and remote working options.
