Lonza in Visp, Switzerland, seeks a skilled Project Manager to lead strategic analysis and improvements across the organization. The role is office-first with the option to work remotely for up to 20% of time.

Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families. You will partner with senior stakeholders to deliver complex projects in biotech/pharma environments, ensuring governance, reporting, and effective change management.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Engineering, Science or Business.
• Excellent German and fluent English.
• Solid project management experience in biotech/pharma/chemical GMP environments.
• Successful delivery of projects in complex environments.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize key messages.

Aufgaben

• Identify areas of critical issues across organization and lead strategic analysis and design to identify and implement improvements.
• Prioritize improvements in the short, medium, long term with senior stakeholders on site based on customer needs.
• Lead decision making with relevant stakeholder groups including Site Leadership.
• Set up governance, reporting and delivery structure for the Project.
• Drive delivery of agreed improvements and overall strategic change management (people, process & technology) leading a team of SMEs.
• Assure alignment and drive synergies with other local programs.
• Provide ongoing reporting and escalations as required.
• Partner with other project managers to share best practices and improve ways of working.
• Role model continuous improvement mindset.

What you will do:

• Identify areas of critical issues across organization and lead strategic analysis & design to identify & implement improvements

• Prioritize improvements in the short, medium, long term together with senior stakeholders on site and based on the needs of the customers

• Lead decision making with relevant stakeholder groups incl. Site Leadership

• Set up governance, reporting and delivery structure for the Project

• Drive delivery of agreed improvements and overall strategic change management (people, process & technology) leading a team of Subject Matter Experts

• Assure alignment and drive synergies with other local programs

• Provide ongoing reporting and escalations as required

• Partner with other project managers to support each other and jointly derive best practices to constantly improve ways of working and effectiveness of the implementation of improvements

• Role model a mindset and practice of continuous improvement

What we are looking for:

• University Degree in Engineering or Science or Business

• Excellent in German, Fluent in English

• Solid experience in the field of Project Management (ideally PMP/ Prince 2 certification) within a Biotechnology-/ Pharma-/ Chemical GMP Environment

• Successful delivery of projects in complex environments

• Strong analytical skills, solid business understanding and ability to synthesize to key messages

• Strong knowledge about IT Applications and key business processes

• Team lead experience in projects (indirect reports)

• Continuous improvement mindset (ideally Lean Six Sigma Qualification)

• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments

• Demonstrated communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels of a multinational organization

• Strong time management skills
