Lonza in Visp, Switzerland, is seeking an Operator / Biotechnologist (m/f/d) for 50-100% FTE to join our site-based production teams. Qualifikationen

• Education in biotechnology, biopharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, or a related life sciences discipline.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of cGMP principles and quality-focused manufacturing practices.
• Ability to identify and solve process-related issues in a structured and compliant manner.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Effective communication skills in English; German language skills are advantageous.
• Flexibility to work in 4-shift operations where required.

Aufgaben

• Execute production operations across different manufacturing processes, including documentation and process-related calculations.
• Identify, investigate, and help resolve process deviations to support continuous manufacturing excellence.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate production records and support regulatory and quality standards.
• Assist in onboarding and training new team members, sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
• Support continuous improvement activities that enhance operational performance, safety, and product quality.
