Jobbeschreibung

Scientific Profile

As an academic subdiscipline of systematic theology, the subject “moral theology” is of central importance to the Faculty of Theology in both research and teaching. In addition to the fundamentals of moral theology, the research profile of the professorship encompasses area‑specific ethics, such as the ethics of relationships or bioethics. The successful candidate will further develop these areas of focus and contribute to the profile development of the department and the faculty by establishing new research priorities.

The applicant is expected to engage in networking both within and outside the university for the Department of Moral Theology, for example through fields of excellence, research networks, or other forms of cooperation, as well as actively participate in the CEEPUS Bioethics network (Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies).
